Combining rap and rock is always tricky. Combining the animatronic Rock-afire Explosion Band from the early'80s Chuck E. Cheese precursor Showbiz Pizza Place with all the stylings of a big rock video — including the hot, gyrating babes — should be impossible. Nevertheless, Kokayi pulls off the song and director Donlee Brussel delivers with the video, making for an unlikely and fun mash-up. --> watch "Roxtar"

The song is The City, but the video is The Beach. Alt-Pop singer Patrick Wolf and crew gallivant around the Santa Monica Pier, kicking out this tune and being psychologically, if not physically, far far away from the interspersed shots of austere modern office buildings. --> watch "The City"
