Utmost Good "All We Are" (Luis Santos, dir.)

ALL WE ARE - Utmost Good

Utmost Good guitarist Luis Santos directed this simple lo-fi video with a VHS vibe. It features lots of musician's from the band's Liverpool scene — full disclosure: the only Liverpool dudes I'd recognize were in The Beatles — while Santos uses slow shutter speeds and low frame rates, manipulating the footage in Twixtor so the images blur into one another.

Daft Punk Lotus F1 Spot (Jonas Akerlund, dir.)

Daft Punk Lotus F1 Team

Who needs NASCAR when Daft Punk can go Formula 1 with the Lotus F1 team. This odd combination launched with a series of teasers that's now been capped by a full 30 second spot directed by Jonas Akerlund

My main question is: Do the Daft Punk guys show up for all the promo shoots, or do they just ship the helmets around the world and just hire people to play the parts?

The Gregory Brothers "DJ Play My Song"

DJ Play My Song (NO, LEAVE ME ALONE)

Can the autotune masters who showed us the musicality of Charles Ramsey and Antoine Dodson pull off a traditional music video?

As part of YouTube's Comedy Week, The Gregory Brothers put out a "proper" song about what every DJ big or small endures at every gig, though not at the level of extreme fandom shown here. Cameos galore from other YT stars, including PSY.

Thao & The Get Down "Holy Roller" (Mimi Cave, dir.)

THAO & THE GET DOWN STAY DOWN - Holy Roller - Official Video

You realize things won't be exactly as they seem from the first line of this fun video, but director Mimi Cave proceeds to really mix things up via some digital cut-outs. Enjoy.

And no, that girl doesn't really have man hands.
