2013 Webby Award Winners

In the spirit of the web, I'll just steal the desciption of The Webby Awards from their site: The Webby Awards is the leading international award honoring excellence on the Internet.

There's a ridiculous amount of categories, and some of them are indeed ridiculous — for example, the fact that the AmEx Unstaged live concert series was named Best Financial Services & Insurance is all you need to know about what's wrong with the Financial Services & Insurance industry.

There's something haunting about this enigmatic study of a young man and woman by director Chad Michael Ward. I'm not entirely sure what it all means, but I'm also not sure it's matters since each little twist makes it all the more compelling.

HALLOWED is a short film directed by Chris Turner (Hungry Man Productions / Favourite Colour: Black), based on Dante’s Inferno and featuring a bespoke remix of Eye Robot by Plaid. 

This film was commissioned by (and features dancers from) English National Ballet, and will appear in TWENTY6 Magazine H ISSUE, with an accompany editorial by photographer Charl Marais.
