SHOT: Shadow Shadow Shade - Michael Graham, dir.

A poster-image from "White Horse," an ambitious music video trilogy for L.A. buzz band Shadow Shadow Shade starring actor Jason Ritter... The project is comprised of three videos that collectively tell a tale that can either be described as a post-apocalyptic love story, or a sneak peek at our impending doom (which is not to say those two things are mutually exclusive)... Directed by Michael Graham... Coming soon...

WATCH IT: Ted Leo "The Mighty Sparrow" (Jack Ferry, dir.)

Even if gravity no longer exists, even if we don't know which way is up and even if our balloons keep getting popped, Ted Leo will be there. And here he is, with his longtime backing band The Pharmacists, in a simple, yet clever enough performance video from multi-tasking director Jack Ferry. --> watch "The Mighty Sparrow" (Pitchfork TV premiere)

WATCH IT: Owl City "Vanilla Twilight" (Danny Yourd, dir.)

In the key battle of Shaquille O'Neal endoresements, it's looking like it's: Owl City - 1, Postal Service - 0. The Superman of the basketball court is one of several people who get caught staring up at the sky when an otherworldly eddy of sunshine (aka: Owl City's heavenly performance) starts swirling on an otherwise snowy and drab day. (PS: Not to accuse Owl City of being like another Sub Pop band, but this video does remind me a bit of this old Sebadoh "Willing To Wait" video) --> watch "Vanilla Twilight"
