WATCH IT: Hot Hot Heat "21@12" (Michael Maxxis, dir.)

Canada is strange. Really strange. Like, Gummo strange. OK, maybe not that strange. Director Michael Maxxis unveils a side of Canada that's anything but glamorous (yet still polite), matched with a storyline that could come from an episode of Napoleon Dymamite (if it was a series). The epic tale revolves around a birthday party and Hot Hot Heat's quest to get something to bring as a gift. Weirdness ensues. --> watch "21@12"

WATCH IT: Chris Brown "Deuces" + "No Bulls**t" (Colin Tilley, dir.)

Director Colin Tilley delivers two clips in support of Chris Brown's Fan Of A Fan mixtape collaboration with Tyga. "Deuces" is a stylist b&w piece shot alongside the Los Angeles River. "No Bulls**t" is a bedtime boast that mixes sexytime on the couch with some of Brown's acrobatic dancework up on the roof. --> watch "Deuces" and "No Bulls**t"

WATCH IT: Miike Snow "The Rabbit" (Andreas Nilsson, dir.)

If you've always thought that 2 Live Crew had certain magical qualities, wait until you see what happens at thie climax of this strange video for Miike Snow. Director Andreas Nilsson and crew shoot on-location in Jamaica, depicting a tale of a young bearded boy, his daggering harem and a shared desire to explain why they're As Nasty As They Wanna Be. --> watch "The Rabbit"

WATCH IT: Korn "Oildale" (Phil Mucci, dir.)

While everyone is rightfully focused on the ecological damage caused by the Gulf oil spill, this Korn video is essentially a look at the other frightening effects of the Drill Baby Drill mantra. Set in drilling town Oildale, CA, the band comes across as the most normal thing in this wasteland of oil derricks, trailer homes, wild animal kids, freakish locals and no hope at all. Think of it as a mash-up of the post-oil apocalypse of The Road Warrior with the morality and cast of River's Edge. --> watch "Oildale (Leave Me Alone"

WATCH IT: Alexis Jordan "Happiness" (Aggressive, dir.)

While even a cursory explanation of Einstein's theory of relativity is beyond me (heck, I'm still baffled by magnets), the directing team Aggressive have clearly got it all figured out. This sunny and simple, yet technically complex video for pop singer Alexis Jordan takes place in a world where nearly everything is in motion and it's never quite clear exactly what direction things are going in (especially in regards to her relationship). --> watch "Happiness"
