WATCH IT: Aerosmith "What Could Have Been Love" (Marc Klasfeld, dir.)

Aerosmith has been at the music video game so long it is hard to do something that audiences haven't already seen from them. How long? They were a villainous Beatles stand-in during Sgt. Peppers. Director Marc Klasfeld veers more into Aerosmith 2.0 here, crafting a clip that hits some of their favorite notes (sexy young couple, gloriously divey desert bar) but comes out the other side delivering an unexpected twist (you'll have to watch).  --> watch "What Could Have Been Love"

Director Kevin Slack on Gaslight Anthem "Here Comes My Man"

Kevin Slack, director: "The last music video I did for The Gaslight Anthem was 'Handwritten' which was essentially a love letter to music and vinyl records.  I wanted to continue that theme and this time around we wrote a love letter to film and the power it can have over people.  I loved the idea that someone could get sucked into a movie, literally, and that movie could give them the confidence to leave a crappy relationship.

WATCH IT: Styles P "Araab Style" (Raafi Rivero, dir.)

Raafi Rivero, director: "One image I couldn't shake after talking to the label about this video was a radial saw blade. The words 'hard' and 'toug'” kept coming up, and the artist, Styles P, has a strong street presence. For the treatment I took photos of nails and a pile of rusty saw blades and put them ahead of the reference materials. There was always going to be a street element to this video, so the visual of a saw works because it's something that's both tough in the literal sense, but also highly graphic.
