VEVO hasn't graduated to an Awards show (yet?) but they did let fans vote for the VEVO Hot This Year 2014 list, with winning videos in all the traditional categories.

YouTube Rewind 2014

You know you've made the video of the year when YouTube decides to use the song title for their own tribute of the biggest online hits.

"Turn Down For 2014" starts with an homage to the Daniels video for DJ Snake and Lil Jon "Turn Down For What" before seguing into similar bits inspired by Fancy, Selfie, Happy, Anaconda, All About That Bass, Dark Horse and, of course, the ice bucket challenge and other non-MV virals, with both YouTube and "traditional" celebrities showing up and showing off.

Director Lucy Tcherniak joins RadicalMedia Worldwide

London based director/screenwriter Lucy Tcherniak, joins RadicalMedia worldwide for commercial and music video representation. Her most recent short film Lay Me Down won “Best Female Characters” at the London Short  Film Festival 2014 and is currently long listed for 2015 BAFTA Awards.

Lucy’s clients have included Adidas, Philips, Freeview, Nokia, Warner Music, Universal, Island Records, to name a few.
