Music Video for "Doucement" by Tropikal. The song is about the seductive, addictive nature of love. I created a dance video based on a "Garden of Eden" theme, with Eve leaving innocence behind as she eats from the Tree of Knowledge - in this case discovering romantic love - no longer complete on her own with this newfound knowledge. She pursues a newly appearing Adam who leads her out of the forest and into "civilization" of sorts as he seduces her through dance. But when she finally gets her hands on him and has him seduced, she is the one to leave him behind. Romantic love after all is often passionate, short-lived and volatile.
The entire video was shot in (Commonwealth of) Dominica, and all cast and crew are Dominican.
