Las Bandas Be Brave

Gaz Coombes "Walk The Walk" (Najeeb Tarazi, dir.)

High stakes poker presented in a cubist video style.

Najeeb Tarazi, director: “When I heard Walk the Walk and heard about Gaz finding inspiration in David Hockney’s work, I was reminded of Hockney’s classic photo collages. The video for Walk the Walk uses a poker game as the setting for a series of experimental video collages shot in a mid century modern apartment in Los Angeles. We had a great time figuring out how to make the technique work and I’m super grateful that Gaz wanted to take a chance on unusual visuals for his fantastic music.”

Belly f/ YG "4 Days" (Millicent Hailes, dir.)

Belly and YG go hard in their duo performance in “4 Days”.  Featuring neon lights, a smoky warehouse, as well as blurred transitions and split-screen video effects, director Millicent Hailes brings the fast paced West Coast vibe to life. There’s no story for the video, but the message is clear: sit back, relax, and enjoy the light show.
