WATCH IT: Travis Porter "Ayy Ladies" f/ Tyga (Alex Nazari, dir.)

Travis Porter is here to party, and in the best tradition of the genre, they inhabit a world exclusively filled with attractive women where other people will surely clean up tomorrow. Director Alex Nazari skilfully captures the guys as they gleefully explore what seems to be a dorm hallway, a convention of French maids and a pool party that might include lost footage from 'Pumps and a Bump'. Let's hope no one calls the cops.  --> watch "Ayy Ladies"

WATCH IT: Walk Off The Earth "Little Boxes" (Sean Wainsteim, dir.)

The band that made waves with a handy Gotye cover remind us of when Weeds was an awesome show (ed: they never should have left Agrestic) with this lovely version of "Little Boxes." Director Sean Wainsteim choreographs this one-take with Walk Off The Earth performing on cigar box instruments in a room where everything is made from little (cardboard) boxes. --> watch "Little Boxes" and a making-of

WATCH IT: Spiritualized "Hey Jane" (AG Rojas, dir.)

Think it's hard out there for a pimp? I have a feeling it's nowhere near as hard as it is for the lead character in this devastating video from director AG Rojas. The "Jane" in this case — note: Why are rock n' roll Janes always in bad circumstances? —  is a trans person, existing on the margins of society and supporting a son by dancing and hooking. There's nudity here, but it's really the violence and the ending sequence that makes me recommend you approach it with caution. Because this brutal little film makes "Turn The Page" seem like "Tip Drill."
