NEWS: Greencard Pictures Short Contest

Production company Greencard Pictures is hosting a very short film competition in which filmmakers and other creative types are called upon to submit shorts that are fifteen to thirty seconds in length that deal with the theme of "inventions."

Prizes are as follows:

  • First Prize: $2,000 and a feature on the frontpage of Greencard's Web site
  • Second Prize: A set of steak knives. Just kidding. It's a Video iPod and a feature on Greencard's Web site
  • Third Prize: An iPod Nanoand a feature on Greencard's Web site
  • Winners will also appear on TheDailyReel.com.

Judges include Daily Reel managing editor Alexandra Delyle, Spike TV's digital media executive Vincent Farrell and you're truly.

NEW RELEASE: Tokyo Police Club "Cheer It On"

A man's model world becomes a place of utter chaos once he introduces some Tokyo Police Club figurines. The animals break free from the zoo and begin mauling anyone in their path. Fires erupt. The social order breaks down leading to panic, death, sex and depravity.
