WATCH IT: OK Go "Last Leaf" (OK Go / Nadeem Mazen / Ali Mohammad, dir.)

The bar for an OK Go video is set so impossibly high now that a video which utilizes 215 loaves of bread and laser-toasting technology can easily be viewed as a disappointment, which would be a shame. "Last Leaf" is an understated lo-fi acoustic track and the stop-motion animated video plays to that underlying nature, depicting a melancholic and autumnal tale. The twist is that all the animations are built upon drawings etched with a laser on slices of toast. And, for those concerned: No fresh bread was harmed, only loaves past their sell-by date. --> watch "Last Leaf"

WATCH IT: Yuck "Rubber" (Michael Reich, dir.) - NSFW-

Is it wrong to find eroticism in washing a dog? Is it even legal? Whatever the answer (ed: Yes, wrong. Legal, probably, unless acted upon), here we are, presented with the sexiest dog grooming video ever. Director Michael Reich emphasizes each repetitive act of sudsing and stroking, before making the sexual connection incredibly obvious by mixing in some shots of the apprentice groomer's naked body. It's very unsafe for work, especially when you consider how the nipple shots are juxtaposed with sequences where dog anal glands are expressed. Yuck, which happens to also be the band's name. --> "Rubber" (NOTE: Very NSFW)
