WATCH IT: Manchester Orchestra "Virgin" (Ben Disinger, dir.)

A happy coincidence is when you realize your student film matches up almost perfectly with a song by your favorite band. Even happier is when you approach said band before a gig, convince them you're not insane, play them the video synced with their song, realize the band is insane enough (in a good way, of course) to connect you with their manager and a few months down the line your student film is now the offiicial video for the song. As Manchester Orchestra mainman Andy Hull puts it, "This is that rare moment when art expands further than first intentions or expectations.

WATCH IT: Peter, Bjorn & John "Gimme Some" (Malmros/Arbin, dir.)

Got 37 minutes to watch a video that contains every song off the new Peter Bjorn and John album Gimme Some? It's a fairly wild mix of cleversilly performance bits, animation, behind-the-scenesy sorta stuff and a fiery conclusion, as if it were designed to appeal to short attention spans while existing in a longform structure. --> watch "Gimme Some

WATCH IT: The Death Set "It's Another Day" (Autista Collective, dir.)

If the way to a man's heart is his stomach, then why can's a man use that same technique to create his own ideal lover? Yes, logic and science get thrown out the window as our hero in this Death Set video takes a fortune teller's advice to engorge himself with food so as to make himself pregnant and give birth to his own lover (who is thankfully born at a legal age of consent). --> watch "It's Another Day"
