QUICK CLIP: Caveman "Thankful" (Austin Peters, dir.)

Swap out this Caveman song for something heavier and this docustyle depiction of semi-professional wrestlers would make for potentially kickass Black Label Society video, especially since their biker branding is pretty prominently displayed here. That said, the BLS edit would probably feature more piledrivers and less "lonely Wrestler" footage. --> watch "Thankful"

WATCH IT: Tenacious D "To Be The Best" (Jeremy Konner, dir.)

So, Tenacious D's feature film The Pick Of Destiny didn't strike a chord with moviegoers (ed: see what I did there with chord/pick?). No big deal. Jack Black is still rich and famous. And nobody ever cared about Kyle Gass anyway. Such is the situation by Extra correspondent Maria Menounos in this tale of Kyle's mental breakdown and unstoppable drive to reform The D, or end things for both of them. Luckily, Val Kilmer is there to save the day and a couple of other guest stars show up to get the The D in fighting shape for the big comeback.

WATCH IT: Simian Mobile Disco "Cerulean" (Featherstone & Samuel, dir.)

Motion graphics artists Jack Featherstone and Will Samuel create what's either an homage to 1980s video games or the best screen-saver ever. It hardly matters if you classify this as a 'real music video' or not, since the hypnotic visuals are synched to the track in a way that makes it impossioble to not watch, even if nothing much really happens. The journey of the heroic dot across the screen is relentless and engaging, enough to inspire anyone run off and play some Flash based web games.
