Midnight Juggernauts "Memoriam" - The History of CGI

Midnight Juggernauts - Memorium

Look how far we've come...

Midnight Jugglers "Memorium" is actually a short film, Wireframe Memories, tracing the history of CGI from seemingly simple lines and squiggles, to the full-on 3D structures now possible with tools that are essentially toys,  like the Xbox Kinect camera.

The Creators Project has an interview with band member and video director Vincenzi Vandella, who describes the process:

Poolside - Next To You (Fan Video!)

Don't let the fact that this video bills itself as a "fan video" fool you: It's much better than that. I'd go with "unofficial/unsolicited" — yet, apparently appreciated by the band —  this is a nicely conceived and executed stop-motion tale of a plug looking to stick itself into an outlet.

And yes, electricity is sexy sometimes.

Wise Blood - "Rat" (Official Video)

Michael Lawrence, director: "I took a train to Pittsburgh with two bags, some ideas and a camera. Chris (Wise Blood) and I drove around his hometown for five days, got into trouble, set some things on fire, filmed most of it, and made a video. Hope you like it."
