Nature abhors a vacuum. And since we are still waiting for the real, full video for Daft Punk's booty shaking 'Get Lucky' the internet has been offering up all kind of alternate, fan-made versions. Last week, the epic Soul Train super-cut was the best in town. This week, every dancing movie character you can imagine has come to see if they too can get a bit of luck.
The edit pulls in expected classics like Fred Astaire and Dirty Dancing but also dives deep with Monty Python's Meaning of Life and Tim Curry (get well!) as Dr. Frankenfurter. But the star of the show just might be John Travolta, who gets his dance on in seemingly every role. There is Saturday Night Fever, Grease, Pulp Fiction and even (in drag) Hairspray. What, no Primary Colors? Anyway, until the real thing shows up, let's all groove along with Johnny Boy and David Brent.
