NEW RELEASE: Against Me! "White People For Peace"

Againstme_white1Againstme_white2 White people may all look alike, but we're not all warmongers — especially not the politically minded rock band Against Me!. "White People For Peace" is an unabashed protest song about protest songs and how they often fall on the deaf ears of those who profiteer from the conflict. The graphics laden video strikes a similar tone by imagining war as an ultra-violent, futuristic version of football where is no ball or points, only the requirement for each side to destroy the other. The presence of cheerleaders certainly amplifies the absurdity of it all, but it also serves as a reminder that super producer Butch Vig —who worked with some band called Nirvana that was synonymous with a little video that also had cheerleaders —  oversaw the new Against Me! album New Wave and remixed this track. --> watch "White People For Peace" below...
