Alter Bridge, as you may or may not know or care, is basically Creed without Scott Stapp and all those histrionics. As such, the sound of "Rise Today" is pretty darn straightforward hard rock and the video is an equally polished, yet also no-frills clip. Director Dale "Rage" Resteghini — who's recently been on a hip-hop tear, most notably with the omnipresent Crank Dat Soulja Boy video — returns to his rock roots with a multitude of film stocks, lighting flares and edit effects to enliven the band's bare bones performance. --> watch "Rise Today"
