NEW RELEASE: Arctic Monkeys "Brianstorm"

Brianstorm After making such a remarkable and award-heavy entry onto the modern rock scene, not many bands are confident enough to make a leap like this. Especially bands whose members were all born well after MTV became a household name. But, on the release of their second album, Favourite Worst Nightmare, the Arctic Monkeys have foregone showing their faces in a video and opted instead to show you a bunch of gyrating ladies and hyperactive edits. And, it turns out to be a pretty good idea, given the high energy of the song "Brianstorm." Director Huse Monfaradi, best known for his naughty Eric Prydz video, works the ladies and the cameramen pretty hard as the Monkeys rock out in the shadows of a well-lit soundstage.
