Although we've seen shot-in-reverse music videos before — director Spike Jonze's classic Pharcyde clip for "Drop" will probably always be the high water mark of the genre — MuteMath and their director pal Israel Anthem deserve a whole lot of respect and attention for pulling off this technically impressive video. Shot entirely in one take — well, there's apparently one small edit in the middle — this discombobulating video has the guys of MuteMath not only ably miming the performance (remember, they had to learn their parts backwards) but also engaging in a fair amount of goofy movements and set-ups. --> watch "Typical" via YouTube
