A sick young man in a hospital bed slips into an afterlife where My Chemical Romance is the star attraction for a funerary parade through a devastated world. In some ways the video may strike you as a commentary on Hurricane Katrina — the destroyed city, a parade that's at least partly inspired by the city's famed jazz funerals, the protest sign that reads "Starved To Death in a Land Of Plenty" — but it's just as easy to view it as a goth version of Mexico's Day Of The Dead parades. Either way, it's pretty much a no-brainer that the band's dedicated fanbase will herald this as an anthem of solidarity. -- watch "Welcome To The Black Parade"
