NEW RELEASE: The Pack "In My Car"

The Pack's"In My Car" recalls the early days of rap video, with i's green screen special effects, simplistic rhymes and  infectious hook. But this isnât a retro outing, as the clip employs slick animation to create a surreal scenes with cascading dollars and a floating spaceman. While the song lacks the compelling narrative of an old school rap hit, it compensates for that with repetition, polished production and repetition. If the hook isnât stuck in your head by the end of this one, you might want change the batteries in your hearing aid or see if you've suffered a brain injury. And, just to make sure the Oakland-based groupâs song is club ready, "In My Car" is coupled with a dance reminiscent of last yearâs motorcycle. (review by Craig Belcher) --> watch "In My Car"
