WATCH IT: Kanye West + Spike Jonze "We Were Once A Fairytale"

Sometimes things get really bad, even for the phenomenally successful, like Kanye West. This short film directed by Spike Jonze stars Kanye in an exaggeration of his "I'mma let you finish, but Beyonce has one of the best video all time" mode. We Were Once A Fairytale finds Kanyes as a parody of himself — a boorish drunken lout, starved for attention and/or sex — a kind of sad combination of Tony Clifton and Andrew Dice Clay circa The Day The Laughter Died.  And when this happens, sometimes you have to do something drastic. You have to tear the little wild beast out of your chest and make it slit its own throat.
