America's sweetheart, Katy Perry, opens her newest video discovering her man is cheating on her (sorry, no Aldous Snow cameo). Like Private Benjamin before her, our heroine decides that signing up for the military is the logical next step. Even though her journey starts with a semi GI Jane-ish haircut, Katy's training never looks as grimy or vicious as what Demi had to put up with. Director Ben Mor instead opts for uplift and shooting the military regimentation to create clean, graphic images of triumph around his photogenic star.
