For some reason, this new Patrick Wolf video directed by Ace Norton strikes me as a mash-up of the neon geometry of Gary Numan "Cars," the face painting madness of Peter Gabriel "Shock The Monkey," and the day-glo Mumenschantzism of Sia "Soon We'll Be Found." Mostly though, it strikes me as proof that the spirit of Aladdin Sane and artsy glam rock lives on. Watch if you like outragous styling, kaleidoscopic effects and other bits of unrelenting eye candy. --> watch "Hard Times" (Quicktime)
