I wanted the video to be a more contemporary piece of art with inclusion of expressionism. It was also influenced by the cult filmmaker Kenneth Anger’s films such as Rabbit’s Moon, which feature avant-garde techniques, surrealism, wild visual experiments and no dialogue. I was also inspired by the cinematography of 1996 film Picnic directed by Shunji Iwai.
