Choreographers Rich + Tone Presenting + Performing @ Spectacle NYC This Friday

Choreographers for Michael Jackson, Madonna and more to appear at Spectacle's The Directors Studios Series, Friday, April 26, 7:00 to 8:00 p.m.

Discovered by Michael Jackson’s choreographer while freestyling at a California club, the brothers Rich and Tone Taluega went on to become two of the most successful and talented choreographers in the business. The list of artists they have worked with is a veritable Hall of Fame, including Michael Jackson, Madonna, Jennifer Lopez, Usher, Chris Brown, Gwen Stefani, Christina Aguilera, Kylie Minogue, Missy Elliot, Black Eyed Peas, The Backstreet Boys, Monica, Pink, and Dirty Vegas. In addition to their many music videos, they recently choreographed Madonna’s Super Bowl halftime show. On Friday, April 26, 2013 at 7:00 p.m., Rich + Tone will present some highlights from their remarkable body of work, and will give a live demonstration of their choreography. 

This program is part of the series Sonos and VEVO present: The Director’s Studio, presented in conjunction with the exhibitionSpectacle: The Music Video, currently on view at Museum of the Moving Image through June 16, 2013.

Spectacle: The Music Video is the first comprehensive museum exhibition to explore the art form. It features more than 300 videos, immersive installations, and artifacts. The exhibition is organized by the Contemporary Arts Center, Cincinnati and curated by Jonathan Wells and Meg Grey Wells of Flux. Exhibition design by Logan. The exhibition at Museum of the Moving Image is presented in partnership with Sonos, the leading manufacturer of wireless audio systems, and VEVO, the world’s leading all-premium music video and entertainment platform.
