LA Music Video Festival Starts Tonight - Runs Through May 4

Music Video Festival - Tickets On Sale Now!

The 3rd Annual Los Angeles Music Video Festival (LAMVF) kicks off tonight, Wednesday, May 1st - at the Downtown Independent Theater in Los Angeles. Tickets are on sale now at brownpapertickets.com as either a day pass or a  discounted multi-day pass.

The longest LAMVF to date, this year’s 4-night program includes six screenings curated from over 400 submissions from 32 countries, dynamic panels, keynote & lifetime achievement winner Greg Gold (director and co-founder of Propaganda Films).  LAMVF will host it's signature "Life’s A Pitch" project with Red Bull Records' band, Five Knives, this year with an added twist requiring the winning director to create his or her music video in 48 hours.  A portion of all LAMVF proceeds will benefit OMG! Cameras Everywhere! a non-profit arts program that introduces LA-area kids to the art of music video making.

The LAMVF was created for a single purpose: to celebrate the art of the music video.  LAMVF works to bring independent filmmakers and independent musicians together in fresh, unique and meaningful ways.  LAMVF represents a new generation of film festival whose audience is young, aspirational, passionate, tech-savvy and un-intimidated by micro-budgets and global distribution.  For anyone who makes music, makes videos, likes music videos, come be part of the movement.  Visit www.lamvf.com for more details.
