Glee star Corey Montieth passed away this weekend at the age of 31. Cause of death is unknown, but most news outlets made prominent mention of his past struggles with substance abuse.
The Fox series has been scheduled to start production a fifth season later this summer, but neither the show's producer or the network has commented on those plans.
Glee was never considered to truly be a music video vehicle, but definitely showed that the general audience could be engrossed in music content if presented within the context of a narrative.
