Trudy Belllinger originates from UK where she has established a prolific career as a music video and commercials director .
She is also well known as one of the leading music video and creative commissioners having been the Head of Music video and creative services at EMI for 10 years working with new artists as well as extremely established globally recognized acts.
It was a natural progression for Bellinger to direct, and was partly brought about through demand from the artists she was working with.
Whilst establishing her name as a director, Trudy continued to work as a commissioner and creative consultant to the UK major and independent record labels. Her all round expertise and experience along with her impeccable sense of style and image were highly sought after and led to her working on a regular basis for Sony, Universal and Syco's X Factor and Idol artists.
Her award winning music videos, in particular the body of work she has directed for UK's leading girl band Girls Aloud led to her being in demand in the commercials world, mainly in the youth, pop, female, style, fashion and beauty genres. Creating campaigns for leading fashion Store M & S starring Twiggy and Rimmel's iconic campaigns featuring Kate Moss as well as hair and beauty brands.
She was responsible for the rebranding of the Sky Network LIVING channel aimed at a sassy female market. Her passion for fashion and style led to her being Elle McPhersons director of choice for the last three years network promos for Britain and Irelands Next Top Model starring Elle and Tyson Beckford.
Trudy's stunning eye for detail, her limited colour palettes, passion for clever choreography and her edgy forward thinking sense of style means it is easy for her to create aspirational identities and branding that inspires.
Trudy now lives in Los Angeles.
