Music VidFest Announced for London on November 10

The team behind the UKMVAs and BUG bring you Music VidFest, a one-day event designed to focus on the business of creativity in music videos.

The inaugural Music VidFest will take place at BFI Southbank on November 10th ahead of the UKMVAs that evening and aims to create discussion and debate on key topics affecting the craft.

Kicking off the event will be Grammy Award winning US director Joseph Kahn, who has created videos for the likes of Beyonce, Lady Gaga, Katy Perry, U2, Wu-Tang Clan, Eminem, and Justin Timberlake and remains at the top of his game with recent videos for Mariah Carey, Britney Spears and Shakira.  Kahn will open the event with a keynote speech, offering an insight into his years of experience, along with his views on the industry today and the future of music video.

The day will include panel discussions with leading lights of music video creativity in the UK and further afield, from producers and directors, to independent and label commissioners, managers and artists. It will also feature representatives from the key music video platforms, and will culminate in a Question Time on the future of music video where audience members will get the chance to quiz industry leaders on the burning issues affecting the craft.

More information on speakers taking part in the event, and additional details on the programme for the day can be found at musicvidfest.com.
