Nominations have been announced for Canadian music video channel Much Music's annual awards show. Not counting a handful of "People's Choice" categories, the nominations break down as follows:
- Rockers Billy Talent are the most nominated group, receiving nods in five categories for the "Devil In A Midnight Mass" video directed by Spy Entertainment's Sean Michael Turrell.
- Other artists with multiple nominations include Kardinal Offishall, Massari and The Trews.
- The most nominated director is RT!, who is up for 10 awards thanks to his multi-nominated videos for Kardinal Offishall, Massari.
- Overall, the nominations are dominated by production companies TwoThreeFiveFilms and Spy Entertainment, which are respectively up for 13 and 12 awards.
