WATCH IT: The Parlor Mob "Hard Times"

Pmob_hard What looks to be a steampunk depiction of an ugly post-industrial future is actually present day New Jersey. Director Michael Maxxis just turns up the sepia for a retro vibe and amps up the grit and the grime to match the fuzzed-out riff rock of The Parlor Mob. Aside from cutaways of NJ's lovely countryside and a gaggle of chicks who are clamoring to get some rock of their own [ed: I think it's more a groupie sorta thing than a feminist message], the video largely stays within a makeshift factory barroom where the band grinds it out for a Dickensian cast of characters.--> watch "Hard Times"
