Take the old Spike Jonze x Happy Days x Weezer trick and blow it up to feature film proportions. Director Francis Cutter inserts fellow Frenchmen Flynt and Orelsan into a series of familiar movies, ranging from comedies like The Big Lebowski and The Hangover to more intense fare like Full Metal Jacket and La Haine (can you blame them for getting a French flick in there?).
Two additional things to note below:
1. There's a nude scene — ok, there's another French film in here, with Gerard Depardieu, no less. And no he's not the one naked.
2. Will be interesting to see if/when any studios place copyright claims here, which would be a shame since this clever video feels like a perfect example of creating something new that only adds to increased interest and value to the originals.
