Penultimate track from Drunk Sluts Forever with an accordion intro not found on the album, “Purdizzy (On Saturday)” commemorates two decades of loud music and degenerate parties, which have made this hundred-year-old house in West LA the most notorious in the neighborhood.
Directed by Mario Mabe, the video features original 1521 lease-holders Angel City Meat Company arriving—as usual—on motorcycles, with Liam on the principal instruments that compose the song, Dan Henneberger as the disgruntled neighbor, and the fabulous Chi Chi Navarro (who used to work the Catskills with Milton Bearle) as the electricity-siphoning landlady, along with a couple dozen friends who came over to join the festivities.
