Pulse Welcomes Luke Taylor As Head Of Branded Ent & Channels

A roster director at Partizan before co-founding BigBalls Films, Luke brings with him a wealth of experience within the branded entertainment space, previously producing marketing content for music acts including Mark Ronson, Lupe Fiasco and Calvin Harris and brands including Nike & HTC; alongside impressive credentials within the branded series space, with the cult-hit social networking drama ‘Kate Modern’ and BAFTA award winning ‘Who Killed Summer’ for Vodafone adorning his CV.

Building on Pulse’s previous successes within the branded entertainment space, both with global brands including Bose, Skype and Bacardi and with projects including with Converse’s ‘Rubber Tracks’ and 20thCentury Fox’s series of shorts with Dawn of the Planet of The Apes, Luke will play a pivotal role in further cementing Pulse’s position as a world class leader in content.

Luke explains; “Pulse is perfectly placed to ‘own’ the field of branded entertainment. Their multi-disciplinary approach and award winning work across the fields of commercials, film and music seamlessly collide to create content that no other company can deliver. As a unit, we have everything under one roof – high quality storytelling, commercial quality production values, long-standing experience of working with high profile talent. It was this versatile approach that excited me and I look forward to further evolving this innovative offering.”

In addition to the branded entertainment space, Luke’s company Big Balls has had a heritage in building and launching successful global channels such as Copa90 and Line9, the hugely successful action sport channel. Looking forward, Luke will work closely with US-based CEO Thomas Benski and the team to further enhance the brands channel offering.

Based in the London office, Luke will work under Marisa Clifford, CEO (UK & Europe) who comments; “We are delighted to have Luke as part of the Pulse family. We have ambitious plans for growth and believe we are ideally positioned to take advantage of the current landscape, specifically within the fields of branded entertainment and channels. Luke will be a huge asset in strengthening our position as world class content creators.”
