Sultry pop vocalist Joanne Weaver is best known for putting her own modern, electronic spin on American songbook classics. Weaver has performed in local New York City music venues since 2001 and has just released her second studio album, Interstellar Songbook II, that consists of nine American songbook classics that she personally curated from the archives of the 30s, 40s, 50s and 60s, transforming them to modern-day trip hop, lounge songs with glitchy, electronic beats and dark orchestration.
