BET AWARDS: Winners and Recap

Kanye West, Destiny's Child and a reunited Fugees all made headlines thanks to last night's BET Awards. Kanye was named Best Male Hip-Hop Artist and also earned Video of the Year honors for the highly acclaimed "Jesus Walks" clip that was directed by Chris Milk of @radical.media. Destiny's Child capped off their performance of "Cater 2 U" by pulling Magic Johnson, Nelly and actor Terrence Howard on stage to be the recipients of lap dances (Howard was the lucky one to get a dace from Beyonce). Finally, the reunited Fugees made their first TV appearance with a surprise performance to open the show.

Unfortunately, many of the winners were not present at the show. Missing in action were Kanye West, Usher, Donnie McClurkinJamie Foxx, Regina King, Shaquille O'Neal and Serena Williams. Even Denzel Washington, who received a special humanitarian award with his wife Pauletta, was absent.
