NEWS: Plug Indie Music Awards

Voting is still open for the  2006 Plug Independent Music Awards. Designed to celebrate independent and creative music, the Plug Awards also recognize independently owned and operated 'zines, college radio stations and record stores.

Winners will be announced at a February 2 event at NYC's Webster Hall. Nominees scheduled to perform include The National, Chad VanGaalen and Cage. Tickets are available through Ticketweb.com.
