Not feeling the one take aspect of it? Kind of the hip-hop version of the OK Go marching band video, perhaps?

I would be feeling it if these guys "BB Guns" didnt do that with every other video they did...the other with J Cole and that Asher Roth video...the one take thing is played out especially when all it is a rapper rapping into the lens

I think the other ones were more meant as virals... But I see your point: Its definitely similar (tho I think more ambitious) to other stuff on their reel. Not sure if thats a bad thing, tho, especially if theyre developing and honing the style.

I hate to be this guy, I really do. But this is one my videos from 5 years ago. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=o4C9wFknbMQ I even got some VS love back in the day. http://www.videostatic.com/vs/2006/09/free_speech_eve.html Like I said, I hate to be that guy. I'm not even bitter. I like BBGun and think these guys do a great job. I just wish I had some budgets that these guys do.

Dig that Free Speech video, but I dont think its all that similar asides from the long take/walking toward camera vibe, which I think is a well-established music video trope by this point.

In the first half of the clip the camera turns to find J. Cole inside the television and it never cuts, which is exactly what happens in the FS video. People take stuff all the time, it was just something I noticed.
