I saw a picture of John Rzeznik in front of a green screen while making this video...I wonder if there will be injured soldiers and wives crying for the background of this video. According to John the story was inspired by a woman's letter to him at a meet and greet saying how her injured soldier husband was ashamed to come home. If you ask me, it sounds like John made this story up...No one has heard from this mystery woman on any Goo fan board to see what she thinks of the song and how her husband is doing...John doesn't seem to remember any details like when he met her, where she's from, what her name is and he conviently threw out the note...Seems like a bullshit story to try to drum up sales for a sappy song. What happened to the Goo Goo Dolls?
