Acclaimed video performance series From The Basement is back, and like most sequels: It's in 3D.
From The Basement makes its return to the US airwaves in 3D form this July on 3net, a 24/7 3D network from Sony, Discovery and Imax. It will also be availble in 2D come August on Sony's Crackle entertainment network, which is available online and the device of your choie (iPad, Android, Roku, Xbox 360, etc, etc).
Originally launched in 2007, "From The Basement" is still overseen by its founders: record producer Nigel Godrich (Radiohead, Paul McCartney, Beck), video comissioner and series producer Dilly Gent, and fellow producers James Chads and John Woollcombe.
Past performers on the series include Radiohead, Beck, Iggy and the Stooges, PJ Harvey, Jarvis Cocker, The Raconteurs, Fleet Foxes, The White Stripes, Queens of the Stone Age and Sonic Youth.
