BET announced the nominees for its first ever BET Hip-Hop Awards show, to be taped at Atlanta’s Atlanta's Fox Theatre on Nov. 12 and then aired on Nov. 15. Snoop Dogg, Ludacris, Young Jeezy and T.I. are confirmed to perform, while Grandmaster Flash will be honored with the Icon Award.

BET's longtime bastion of booty videos is apparently no more. BET Uncut's final episode was July 8 and, according to several sources, it will not be returning to the schedule. A very detailed report on the cancellation can be found at Black College Wire.

The annual B.E.T. Awards kick off tonight at 8pm EST, broadcasting live from Los Angeles. The show is being hosted by Damon Wayans and will feature performances by Beyonce, Prince, Jamie Foxx, Mary J. Blige, T.I., Ne-Yo, Keyshia Cole and many other top artists.
