The video for Document's track 'Basic' is a collaborative effort between director Nir Ben Jacob (R.E.M., The Walkmen, Great Lake Swimmers) and New York artist Samuel Gomez. Gomez's work re-imagines the landscape and the future of nature through surreal intricate graphic illustrations filled with symbolism. He depicts dystopian scenes that are comprised of mechanical and industrial elements dealing with automation, oppression, capitalism and sustainability issues.
