WATCH IT: Ice Cube "I Rep That West" (Gabriel Hart, dir.)

Having already established his Westside dominance, Ice Cube takes his low rider back to the Wild Wild West in this video for "I Rep That West". Director Gabriel Hart keeps it serious, making connections between the lawlessness of the presence day and the not so distant past. The only question is whether Ice Cube has traveled back in time to restore order or to show them how a gangsta would roll. --> watch "I Rep That West"

WATCH IT: Kylie Minogue "All The Lovers" (Joseph Kahn, dir.)

The music starts and everything stops. Coffee cups fall to the group. So does the clothing. Men and women strip down and embrace out one another in the middle of a normal city day, all in celebration of pop icon Kylie Minogue and this pop-disco hit. More and more people converge, making for a pile of flesh that eventually grows into a tower of pansexual love to rise Kylie up to the heavens. Director Joseph Kahn's cinematography is sensuously perfect, accentuating various white elements — doves, horses — perhaps to reinforce the tidy whiteys that everyone keeps on. Yes, this video has no nudity. After all, a pop music video needs to make the airwaves, the popular parts of the web and the media; It can't just be a Spencer Tunick art piece.

WATCH IT: Sweet Thing "Dance Mother" (Chris Mills, dir.)

A femme fatale literally steals off with the singer's heart in this wild chase of a video for Sweet Thing. Director/animator Chris Mills manipulates 2D and 3D with live action and animation as the band gets chased down, captured and then taken to a place where nobody gets out alive. --> watch "Dance Mother"

SHOT: Snoop Dogg "Malice N Wonderland" Mini-Movie

Snoop Dogg is going longform with More Malice, a sort of re-imagining and companion piece to his recent album, Malice N Wonderland. Included with the new tracks and remixes is a mini-movie that contains videos for four songs, wrapped together with narrative elements.

Based on the preview, it looks like a mash-up of Smooth Criminal, torture porn and Snoop's actual porn flick, Doggystyle.
