Is it ironic that As I Lay Dying was preparing to tour with Killswitch Engage as their lead singer was allegedly plotting to have his wife killed?

As I Lay Dying frontman Tim Lambesis was arrested yesterday on charges of hiring a hitman to kill his estranged wife. (The hitman turned out to be an undercover cop).
