NEWS: Music Videos On Verizon Wireless

Verizon Wireless announced the availability of full-length music video downloads as part of their new V Cast service. This is the first music video download store available to US customers on either the Web or through mobile technology.

Subscribers to Verizon Wireless' V Cast service ($15 a month) will be able to download music videos from Warner Music Group artists for $3.99 each. Videos will initially be available from Sean Paul, My Chemical Romance, The Used, Crime Mob, Simple Plan and Story Of The Year.

V Cast is Verizon's version of 3G, which is shorthand for new third generation mobile phone technology that allows users access to video content, games and much more. V Cast is powered by Windows Media Audio and Windows Media Video. The service is only available on select phones, such as the LG VX8000 and the Samsung a890.
