Spike Lee

Andra Day "Forever Mine" (Spike Lee, dir.)

For a fairly voyeuristic town like Hollywood, The Standard hotel's "Box" attraction stands out as being the ultimate peep show: A woman, in a box, doing whatever she wants. For Andra Day, what she wants is to write and record and that's exactly what she does in this video directed by legendary director (and surely an occasional Standard guest) Spike Lee.

Eminem "Headlights" (Spike Lee, dir.)

Either Spike Lee is just a really big Eminem who's willing to pay a visit to the Detroit set of the rapper's "Headlights" video — during Knicks season, no less — or he's directing the video.

Bet on option two.

This, of course, wouldn't be the film director's first video — we've previously recapped his work, especially the Do The Right Thing tie-in video for Public Enemy "Fight The Power" — but it's been a long time since he came back to the short form.

Also, can we consider this a Big K.R.I.T. diss?
