Animal Collective "Applesauce" (Gaspar Noe, Dir.)

Remember the old admonition that your record or film should be played loud? This Gaspar Noe video is accompanied with a request that you watch it in "complete darkness for maximum effect." If you've ever seen a Noe film — and I won't go into it again since I did it earlier this month for his Nick Cave video — you know there's almost always an element of viewer overload, so be on alert for seizures. Otherwise it's a simple clip: Model Lindsey Wixson enjoys some fruit (we assume) in sensous silhouetted clips set against flashing colors taken in part from the 1968 Paul Sharits art film "N:O:T:H:I:N:G".
