K-X-P - Magnetic North

The story goes that director Kimmo Kuusniemi shot this footage in 1986 for a hip PSA series that the Finnish government commissioned in hopes of convincing the young folks that drinking and driving is bad. Alas, they realized the footage made it look sort of fun and it never made it to TV.

Thanks to the Internet, however, the PSA made it to YouTube and Finnish band K-X-P saw it, loved it, and decided to have Kuusniemi mold it into the official video for "Magnetic North."

The Internet is a beautiful thing.

PPS: Kimmo Kuusniemi also directed the definitive film about Finnish Heavy Metal, The Promised Land Of Heavy Metal, which has instantly jumped to the top of my "must watch" queue.
